About the Central Arkansas Volks Folks
The Central Arkansas Volks Folks are a Volkswagen Club incorporated as a non-profit organization. We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month a different locations until we decide on one. Look on the main page for the latest meeting place, usually in North Little Rock. Our club goal is to bring together VW owners and enthusiasts who share that unique bond and love for Volkswagens. We try to provide a forum for communications and an exchange of ideas for "VW Nuts" who own VW's no matter whether they are vintage restored, purely stock, radically modified, air or water cooled or anywhere in between.
On the evening of our club meetings, most members gather at the pre-selected restaurant at 6:30 to dine and to visit before the meeting. Starting at 7:00 we normally have a short business meeting and report on activities. Some sample activities include road rallies, scavenger hunts, show & shines, parades and caravanning to VW shows in the surrounding states.
We also sponsor a show in October (BUGTOBERFEST) each year and reward first and second place trophies in each class. Our show has a swap meet area and car corral for those interested in buying and selling both parts and cars. We have door prizes, auction items, give always, good food and good clean fun.
Please accept this invitation to come visit with us and join in on the fun. If you should be interested in joining the club, you may fill out an application form and for the annual fee of only $12 or a joint membership for $20. You will receive a club T-shirt, two for a joint membership and participate in any of the events. We welcome family memberships, so grab you wife, husband, children, significant other or whatever you call that person and come down and join the VW experience.
